Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I had the chance to try the All You Can Eat package at Pitaloka for a very affordable price: Rp70,000 (excluding tax) Pros • Extremely Affordable AYCE Price: At under Rp100k, this is a very economical option for an AYCE experience. • Tasty Mie Goreng (Fried Noodles): Despite being cold, the mie goreng was delicious and flavorful. • Decent AYCE Broth: The soup base/broth for the AYCE section was acceptable and not bad at all, so so • Unique, Classic Ambience: The atmosphere is distinctive, feeling like you are inside an old movie set or, when it was quiet, like a Joko Anwar film—which is an interesting and enjoyable experience (definitely not a bad thing!) Cons & Notes • Staff Service & Rule Communication: There were many staff members around, but none of them proactively informed me or explained the rules for the AYCE package. This left me confused initially. • Limited Buffet Selection: The main buffet food options are quite minimal, consisting only of: Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng), Fried Noodles (Mie Goreng), and White Rice (Nasi Putih). • Buffet Food Condition: Unfortunately, some of the food (especially the mie goreng) was already cold when served. • Disappointing Snack Section: The variety and quality of the snack section were underwhelming and cold"
"Stayed at Pitaloka Sanur and i would say pretty good, With a few quirks: Great location, friendly staff, good service, the rooms are cleaned daily but the sheets are on a permanent vacation which felt a bit off.The air conditioning was fantastic—a real lifesaver during the Bali heat! Breakfast and pool were ok. We decided to skip the on-site food after reading several mixed reviews, so I can’t comment on that personally. Unfortunatly It can get noisy with wedding shoots and loud music so make sure you bring earplugs . Overall, Pitaloka Sanur is good for travelers on a budget but don’t expect luxury or quiet perfection. With a few small improvements, and a small fridge in the room, this place could easily become a favorite."
"A little off the typical tourist locations. The AycE buffet (70k) was somehow different of other locations but still worth to try it. We had been friendly welcomed. The soup served for cooking was spicy but all in all it matched the price. The location itself has a very special charm"
"Thank you for Pitaloka Sanur the staff is so nice especially Gede, Gung Satya, Vina, Juni, Dekna they're the best we get birthday complimentary for freee. So recommend for people to come here especially when they're birthday"
"The Food is perfect and coffee also good.. The place is look like small Netherland castel… All staff are friendly and polite, Special thank you to Pandu and Gita, was good pay attention to the service …"
"A beautiful building with the usual gorgeously friendly and helpful team of professionals. Location - easy to get the Sanur seafront and a good base for catching the ferry to Penida. Only a 15-20 min Grab ride from the hotel. Maybe a bit far out if you like being walking distance to the main strip of shops and restaurants but plenty of great local choices near by. Room was simple but clean and very comfy bed. A fridge would have been handy and there was a bad smell. Turnarounds every day and 2 small bottles of water was lovely. Food - best Nasi Goreng I’ve had so far! Rice was crispy and delicious. Evening menu also good, Ikan Kakap so so tasty. Coffee at breakfast could definitely be improved but okay for the price. Wifi was great until they started working on the line and it all went down. Completely out of the hotel’s control but still an inconvenience when needing to do work calls. The pool wasn’t very inviting, tucked around a corner with no sun loungers and leaves etc floating in it. I didn’t use it but the beach is close so it didn’t matter to me. All in all, great value for money. Would recommend for a short break if you’re on a budget."
"the staf is berry friendly…the hospitality is good spevail for pandu aditya dan gede arnaya.. the place cozy, but we need to respect to the guest who stay in this hotel while taking photoshoot or having some meal."
"This is my second time coming here because they have a hotpot promo for IDR 70k++ per person. First, you find a seat, then make the payment, and the AYCE starts right after with a 60-minute time limit. We tried the tom yum broth and clear soup base. They also have fried rice and other dishes. Everything tasted good and it’s definitely worth the price."
